Dear Sir,

Subject: “Recommendations for greater press freedom in Europe ‘

I read in an article entitled ‘Recommendations for greater press freedom in Europe “of 21 January 2013, Member States of the EU membership, should be assessed on their press.

Furthermore, in all EU countries independent media organs should be allowed to punish the media when they have gone wrong.

The proposals are part of the 30 recommendations for more media freedom in Europe of a research group which, at the request of Commissioner Neelie Kroes (Digital Agenda), drafted  a report .

This report was presented in Brussels on January 21th, 2013, (yesterday).

,, We must urgently need a debate on media freedom in Europe,” said Kroes, who was pleased with the report  and said  ,, This is not only Brussels matter.”

Kroes herself would also will look at what is in its power to promote freedom of the press.

“Media freedom is an essential pillar of European democracy,” the report said.

May I draw your attention to the following note regarding ‘ press freedom in Europe’ and the encrypting of all our blogs because they would be “inappropriate”, please ?

After our complaints, almost all the web pages of these blogs about prisoners’ rights; patients’ rights; press freedom; the rights of the Palestinian people; the history of colonization; the weapon- and oilindustries; national and international politics and so on…  were removed from the internet while our association is not at all  a far-right organization that preaches hatred.

Awaiting your reply,

Yours faithfully,
Jan Boeykens

Zandvoort case: Belgian State Security removes 20 blogs from the internet

The website ‘SOS BAMBINI’ of the Belgian association ‘Werkgroep Morkhoven’ that is well-known  for fighting the childporn rings (Temse-Madeira, Zandvoort childporn case,) , was removed from Google.

On 23.12.2012, all the blogs of Werkgroep Morkhoven were for an unknown reason encrypted by Belgacom/skynet which is for 53% statesowned.

There came no response to the complaints of Werkgroep Morkhoven to the Customer Service of Belgacom/Skynet.

The complaint of the Werkgroep to the Belgian Telecommunications Service was accepted and Belgacom/Skynet has now two months to explain what happened (while the thousands of webpages of the blogs are slowly disappearing from the search engines. (Google, Yahoo,).

The Werkgroep believes that the Belgian State Security is involved in this case.

Immediately after the mysterious encryption, the 14-year-old granddaughter of Marcel Vervloesem was threatened with death and yesterday there was an assassination attempt on his daughter.

The justice of Turnhout which covered the Zandvoort child pornography case, does nothing to stop the death threats.

Werkgroep Morkhoven has written now to the Belgian Minister of Justice, A. Turtelboom, which appointed attorney Jan Poels of the court of Turnhout ,as chief of her office.

The telephone messages with death threats came from the GSM of the named Victor V.,  the man that accused Marcel Vervloesem of ‘pedophilia’ some years ago.  He organized also a media campaign against the activist which lasted more than 10 years.

Victor V. is a member of the board of the Flemish Socialist Party (sp.a) from the city of Herentals where the mayor of the town, Jan Peeters, is chairman.

After his complaint and his media-campaign against Marcel Vervloesem, Victor V. was unconditional supported by the Socialist Party and Jan Peeters.

He was appointed as executive member of the social center of the town of Herentals.

In 2006, after Marcel Vervloesem conducted a hunger strike in prison, he was appointed to municipal councilor of the city and Chairman of the Committee on Safety and Police.

He represents the city in two intermunicipal companies. He is a board member of the social housing company ‘Geelse Huisvesting’ and he is now a board member of the committee of the local police which is chaired by Peeters.

While they are 20 official reports of sexual offenses against boys about Victor V. and he is surrounded by all kinds of criminals of different ages who all have a criminal record (even for armed robbery), mayor Peeters is a senator.  In the 90s he was also Secretary of State and Minister for Security Affairs. He certainly still has contacts with the Belgian State Security that leads the cover up operation in the Zandvoort case and played an important role in covering the shocking Dutroux case. The Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo (Socialist Party) who was called  in a sexual affair with a minor some years ago, was at the same time Deputy Prime Minister.  And it might be a coincidence, Elio Di Rupo was also formerly Minister of Telecommunications.  In that function, he signed a cooperation agreement of the Internet service providers (such as Belgacom/Skynet) with Justice.

In 2005, there was circulating a small petition in Victor V’s neighborhood.  It demanded to put Marcel Vervloesem from his house of the Geelse Huisvesting (what meanwhile happened) and to remove the Werkgroep Morkhoven of the Internet.  The petition, signed by some criminal friends of Victor V., was even discussed in the municipal council of the town of Herentals and mayor Peeters agreed with the proposals.

In 2007 a young lawyer of the city of Gent, a daughter of a well-known lawyer who was councilor of the city of Gent (sp.a), demanded to remove the Werkgroep Morkhoven from the search engine ‘Metatele’ (what was done).  Her friend who is good friends with the designer of the Belgacom/Skynet blogs, launched a provocative campaign whereby he called Marcel Vervloesem a ‘dirty pedophile who had to be castrated’.  About the cover operation of the Zandvoort child pornography case, he kept silent.

Werkgroep Morkhoven rapported about it on its skynetblogs. The man immediately submitted a complaint to Belgacom/Skynet which encrypted two blogs of Werkgroep Morkhoven because ‘violation of privacy’. One of these blogs was ‘Doofpot Justitie’ (Cover up Operation Justice) which was very popular at that time.

The Werkgroep had no right of defense themselves.

So it’s no surprising that the blogs were all now encrypted on the same way and that the Customers Service of Belgacom/Skynet doesn’t answer the complaints.

In the past, the RTBF journalist Gina Bernard-Pardaens, who worked with Marcel Vervloesem around the German boy Manuel Schadwald which has disappeared, received numerous (telephone) death threats and was interrogated and intimidated by Justice.

During several months she had problems with her internet- and phone line without that Belgacom could solve it or could find the telephone number of the anonymous threatener so that he would have been stopped.

After she had written a farewell letter and some hours after Werkgroep Morkhoven’s president tried her to call,  she was murdered (officially it was called a ‘car accident’).

During the phone, there was so much noise on the line that it was impossible to talk. Werkgroep Morkhoven sometimes heard the same sound on its (Belgacom) phone line during its actions.

Jan Boeykens wrote often about it to Belgacom’s direction, but never received an explanation.
